We have three rooms to choose from. Each offer a unique experience for your event. Whether you're looking to host a business meeting, family party, or community class we have the perfect venue for you!

LS Peery Education Center- East and West Classrooms

Scheduling

  • Some weekdays depending on availability
  • Saturdays 9 am - 9 pm
  • Weekday evenings from 4 pm - 9 pm 
  • Rental time includes setup and cleanup.
  • Must agree to rent for a minimum of 2 hours.
  • Maximum rental time: 8 hours. Additional time may be added upon request.

Fees

  • $200 per hour
    • There is no member discount for rental packages
    • $100 non-refundable deposit (This deposit will be applied toward the total cost)
    • Both East and West classrooms may be booked simultaneously for $325 per hour.

Rental Fee Includes:

  • Maximum occupancy of 100 people
  • Rentals will be scheduled per hour and will include setup, your event, and cleanup
  • Use of Visitor Center restrooms
  • Use of kitchen facilities
  • Pull down screen with room darkening shades
  • Eight 6' tables and up to 30 chairs
  • Gift shop and lobby will be open for your guests

Additional Offerings

  • $200 for 30-minute bird presentation, by special arrangement. 
  • $100 for additional hour (past 8 hour maximum allotted time).  
  • $25 for use of an LCD projector
  • $100 to remove Ogden Nature Center classroom materials from the room

Renter Responsibilities

  • Clients are responsible for
    • Table setup
    • Decoration setup and removal
    • Removal of all food and decorations after the event
    • Removal of all trash.
  • Event deposits are non-refundable. 
  • Client agrees to be responsible for any damages and/or theft to the premises, including its furniture, fixtures, equipment, and table accessories by his/her guests, invitees, employees, or other agents under the client’s control. 
  • Ogden Nature Center allows catering, including self-catering, from any vendor. Please note that drop-offs must happen within the specified rental time. 
  • If alcohol is to be served, a licensed bartender must be present
  • Decorations: Streamers, banners, tablecloths, etc. are permitted. Balloons, confetti, straws, and piñatas are not permitted. This is for the safety of our ambassadors and the wildlife on grounds. 
  • NO SMOKING or VAPING is allowed anywhere on the grounds or in the building.
  • Please make sure your guests DO NOT DISTURB the wildlife
  • NO PETS are allowed at any time. (Service animals are always welcome, but must stay away from the mews. All service animals must be leashed.)
  • Children must be supervised at all times
  • No lit flames are allowed. Please use battery operated candles if candles are desired.

Things to know:

  • Parking is approximately 800 to 1000 feet from the Visitor Center. There is one handicap parking stall near the Visitor Center, and room for two additional vehicles.
