We would love to help host your child's birthday party! Make it a celebration they won't forget!
Scheduling
- Parties will take place in the Discovery Room
- Saturdays 9 am - 12 pm OR 1 pm - 4 pm
- Birthdays are not available during the summer due to R.A.M.P. Summer Saturdays.
- The available times include setup and cleanup.
Fees
- $200
- Ogden Nature Center Members: $175
- $100 non-refundable deposit (This deposit will be applied toward the total cost)
Rental Fee Includes:
- Maximum occupancy of 30 people (Includes kids and adults)
- An Ogden Nature Center host will lead a one-hour program that features a short walk, an animal presentation—your choice of a tortoise, rabbit, or snake—and a story or game.
- Nature-themed party favors
- Rentals include setup, your event, and cleanup
- Use of Visitor Center restrooms
- Gift shop and lobby will be open for your guests
Additional Offerings
- $100 for additional 15-minute bird presentation, by special arrangement.
- $25 for additional animal ambassador (snake, tortoise, or tarantula)
Renter Responsibilities
- Clients are responsible for
- Decoration setup and removal
- Removal of all food and decorations after the event
- Removal of all trash.
- Event deposits are non-refundable. Events will be held rain or shine unless Ogden Nature Center is closed due to severe weather conditions. There is NO RAIN PLAN at ONC.
- Client agrees to be responsible for any damages and/or theft to the premises, including its furniture, fixtures, equipment, and table accessories by his/her guests, invitees, employees, or other agents under the client’s control.
- Ogden Nature Center allows catering, including self-catering, from any vendor. Please note that drop-offs must happen within the specified rental time.
- If alcohol is to be served, a licensed bartender must be present
- Decorations: Streamers, banners, tablecloths, etc. are permitted. Balloons, confetti, straws, and piñatas are not permitted. This is for the safety of our ambassadors and the wildlife on grounds.
- NO SMOKING or VAPING is allowed anywhere on the grounds or in the building.
- Please make sure your guests DO NOT DISTURB the wildlife
- NO PETS are allowed at any time. (Service animals are always welcome, but must stay away from the mews. All service animals must be leashed.)
- Children must be supervised at all times
- No lit flames are allowed. Please use battery operated candles if candles are desired.
Things to know:
- Parking is approximately 800 to 1000 feet from the Visitor Center. There is one handicap parking stall near the Visitor Center, and room for two additional vehicles.
