I grew up in the mountains and had full exploration of my neighborhood, which was close to open land, woods, and a creek. Fast forward. marries, living in flat, farm country Illinois. :-{ Fast forward again. Moved to Ogden. Mountains, open land, rivers! Yea!! Then I discovered the Ogden Nature Center, becoming a regular visitor and volunteer. What a joy! The combination of learning experiences, knowledgeable staff, animal rescue and long-term care, trails, wildlife observation, nature focused giftshop, community education and events, makes ONC a truly special place. Thanks to the founders and all who keep ONC thriving.
