Sarah Lambson
Sarah was born and raised in Columbia, Missouri where she received her BS in Fisheries and Wildlife. After serving two Americorps terms in New Hampshire and Maine she realized her passion was for education. In 2017 she moved to Utah and in 2018 she was offered her dream job of outreach educator at the Ogden Nature Center. Shortly after she was promoted to outreach coordinator, a position she held until the fall of 2023 when she was promoted further to the position of deputy director of education.
Teaching children about nature and bringing STEM programming to students all over the state of Utah has brought her much joy over the past 5 years.
Sarah has found peace, adventure, and fulfillment in nature since she was a small child and her desire to see this earth protected and appreciated is what led her to her life as an environmental educator. She spends her free time with her two dogs hiking, camping, kayaking, taking photos, and trying new recipes. She also enjoys listening to and performing music, snuggling under a cozy blanket with a good book, and dabbling in art.
