Your gift to Ogden Nature Center makes a difference.

  • $25 will help provide education supplies for field trips to study nature.
  • $100 will help provide professional training for our staff.
  • $200 will help provide classes and workshops, for example, on how people in our community can reduce their carbon footprint and improve the environmental health of their homes.
  • $600 will provide a weeklong summer camp experience for two underserved middle school children.
  • $1,000 will provide food for our resident wild birds for 14 days.
  • $7,500 will help support one of our eleven education programs for school age children.

Planned Giving

By designating Ogden Nature Center in your will, you can create a legacy of environmental stewardship and a lasting contribution in support of children and education for generations to come. Ogden Nature Center offers a variety of planned giving options to ensure that our educational programs are accessible to children throughout Northern Utah. These include:

Gift of Stock

Invest in nature education and stewardship by making a gift of stock. Ogden Nature Center accepts gifts of stock to support our nature preserve, education programs and wild bird rehabilitation program. Donating the full value of your shares is a tax-efficient method of contributing to life-long learning and community stewardship. Ogden Nature Center sells all shares of stock immediately upon receipt.

Here’s a free and easy way to support the Ogden Nature Center. Just shop at SMITH’S Grocery Store, swipe your Rewards Card, and help us raise funds to continue to unite people with nature and nurture appreciation and stewardship of the environment.
