Corvus brachyrhynchos

BB is an imprinted crow. She was most likely taken by humans as a baby. She was deemed non-releasable by an animal rehabilitator and then came to live at the ONC in February 2019. Blackberry is very smart. She does tricks for treats. A favorite treat is Pinkie Mice. She plays with toys and has a large range of vocalizations.

Fascinating Facts: 

One of the most intelligent animals in the world. Their intelligent is on par with Chimpanzees. Crows are found from Southern Canada and throughout the United States. They mimic sounds they hear around them and can even vocalize words spoken by humans.
