Amanda Voth
Amanda is a recent graduate from Austin Peay State University with a degree in Agriculture and a concentration in Sustainable Development.
Amanda joined the team at the Ogden Nature in January 2024, assisting with the education and outreach programs. She will also helps with on-site restoration projects and volunteer events.
Prior to working with the Ogden Nature Center, Amanda worked with the Utah Conservation Corps as a field crew member. She was able to work in numerous natural areas in Utah, Idaho, and Grand Tetons National Park. Through working with the Utah Conservation Corps she became class A sawyer certified with the United States Forest Service. While in school Amanda worked for the Community Engagement and Sustainability Office. There she assisted with outdoor education as well as maintenance of the site's pollinator garden.
Amanda grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago, but has always taken trips out west with her family. She spent her first two years of school in Missoula, Montana, and finished in Clarksville, Tennessee.
In her free time Amanda enjoys backpacking, yoga, and embroidery.
